OTHER RESOURCES FREEMANPEDIA AP WORLD MODERN.png

I know… I know… Why would you ever need anything besides Freeman-pedia?!? Answer: You don’t. But, if you just want to see what’s out there; here’s what I’ve found to be some solid resources that can help you out along the way.

Wait… That’s me?! I know, but TECHNICALLY this is another resource. I have a Youtube channel. I am always adding stuff. I have a few series so far... First, ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLES. These are a deep dive into the AP World Illustrative Examples that get no action on Youtube. There wasn’t a good video on this topic… so I made one! Also, the AROUND THE AP WORLD IN 80 DAYS COUNTDOWN. Starting 80 days before the AP Exam (so, like late February-ish), I will post ONE VIDEO EVERY SINGLE DAY covering EVERYTHING you need to know about AP World Modern. So… how bout giving us a follow :)

Obvi. Heimler is the best AP WORLD Youtuber in the game. His videos are linked all over my site. He also does great writing and review stuff close to the exam itself. Plus, he does APUSH and AP GOV… So… He’ll be with you for the next few years.

Glankler and her Anti-Social Studies is another time-tested Youtube channel with super quality content designed specifically for AP World Modern. Plus, she has a website too. CLICK HERE to see what Ms. Glankler is all about.

John Green is the granddaddy of all the History Youtubers. His videos are all over my site. Crash Course is super awesome content, but you probably already know that.

Mrs. Gorges is another AP World Youtuber producing quality content. She does great reviews and writing breakdowns. Go to her Youtube channel and look around to see all of her great stuff :)

FIVEABLE is a site that covers all of the AP courses. But, it was founded by an AP WORLD teacher (say hi to Amanda for me). Not only do they make a ton of videos, but they do pretty much everything else for AP World. CLICK HERE for their AP World page. (Some of this might not be free, but a lot of it is…)

Khan Academy covers a myriad of topics, but one of those is World History. Now, it’s not perfectly aligned to AP World… but, look around and you’ll find some quality content. CLICK HERE for their Humanities/History page.

Tired of reading? How bout a podcast? Throughline takes a current event and runs back through the history that got us to this point. Tons of good eps on AP World topics. CLICK HERE to go to their page on NPR.com.

I saved the Best for Last. If you like history or are just a fan of history: Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History Podcast is the greatest there is. You don’t have to be some crazy Historian to enjoy this one. He will take you on the deepest dive on a ton of topics. Special attention: Listen to the Wrath of the Khans (Mongols) and Blueprint for Armageddon (WWI)… AND Supernova in the East (Pacific Theater WWII). Phenomenal. WARNING: These can be hours and hours long, but if you love history; this is your guy. CLICK HERE for his podcast page.
